The MX22 is Matrix's flagship wakeboard and wakesurf boat. It is about 22 feet long, seats 13, and comes with an integrated surf system, 1,300 litres of ballast and a folding tower, so it is ready for a real surf wave from day one.
It does what the big American imports do, with a hull designed for Australian water and a build that never leaves the country. Parts and service are local, and the price makes more sense than an import.

Barefoot, ski, wake and surf

Barefoot in the morning, surf in the afternoon. One boat covers the lot.

The MXV is the crossover in the Matrix range. It was built to handle everything from barefoot and slalom through to wakeboarding and surf, so one boat suits the whole family.
It is compact outside and roomy inside, with seats for 10. Next to the oversized imports it is easier to tow and store and far lighter on fuel, which means more time on the water for the same money.

The Super Sport is the skier's Matrix. It tracks straight, handles precisely through the course, and leaves the soft, tournament-style wakes serious slalom skiers look for.
Inside there is more room than most boats its size, with bigger observer seats and a large rear lounge. Ballast is fitted at the factory for when the kids want to wakeboard, and at 1,750 kg on the trailer it is easy to tow and quick to launch.

How Matrix builds a boat.
Every Matrix is laid up, fitted out and tested in the Adelaide factory. In 2007 the Matrix Expression was named Ski Boat of the Year by the Australian Marine Industry Federation.
- No timber in the structure
- Fibreglass stringers, floors and engine bearers that will not rot or delaminate.
- Up to 20 layers of glass
- Hand-laid and gun-laid fibreglass and composites in every hull.
- One-piece bond
- Hull and deck join with a fibreglass shoebox bond, and the seat frames are moulded into the deck.
- Through-bolted engines
- Each engine is bolted through an aluminium cradle glassed into the hull.
- Stainless throughout
- Every metal fitting is stainless or non-corrosive, down to the upholstery staples.

- Service and repair parts are kept in stock here, so you are not waiting on a ship.
